Quel est ce serpent géant qui s'est installé dans le parc?... Les visiteurs guidés par leur curiosité s'approchent et grimpent sur l'installation. Après avoir lu les noms des fleuves sur les rondins, ils réalisent le concept de ville miniature. Le plan de Winnipeg est ici symbolisé par ses fleuves! Les courants d'eau traversant la ville sont matérialisés par une chaîne de troncs, une "chaussée des géants" séparant les rives de la ville en différentes zones gazonnées... La barrière du fleuve est ici représentée dans l'axe des Z mais reste facile à franchir. Tels des urbanistes ou géographes devant leur carte, les visiteurs plongés dans leur ville maquette peuvent repérer les quartier de la ville tout comme le chemin de ses fleuves... Un géant admirant son territoire. Enfin, le visiteur réorienté peut sentir sa ville dans sa globalité.

Gosh! What is that big snake coming out from the ground?
Visitors led by curiosity approach and climb on the installation. After reading the letters of Winnipeg’s rivers names on the trunks, they realize the reduced-city concept.
The plan of Winnipeg city is symbolized by its rivers! The water flowing with a cooling effect through the city, is materialized by a chain of wooden trunks splitting the site in several stretches of grass like the banks of the city. The water barrier is here illustrated in Z axis but is easy to cross and climb over.
As urbanists or geographers in front of a city map, visitors immersed in this big model can read and identify the different places of the city as well as the paths of the rivers... like giants admiring their territory.
Finally, the visitor can leave with a feel of their living city in its entirety.
